Performance Readouts - This feature enables you to track your acceleration times, including 0-60, 0-100, and quarter-mile runs. It measures these metrics through OBD, which means it calculates wheel speed, so keep that in mind when interpreting the results. 
 
Readiness Monitors - This function informs you when your vehicle is ready for operation. You’ll receive readouts on components like the catalytic converter and O2 sensors, helping you determine when your car is at optimal temperatures.

  • About UltraG:

     

    UltraGauge features an LCD display with LED backlighting.  Unlike traditional LCDs which rely on the reflection of ambient light, the UltraGauge display actually emits light.  Only the information displayed emits light, the background remains dark.  This makes for high contrast and exceptional day and night visability.

     

    UltraGauge automatically adjusts display brightness based upon ambient light levels.  This is especially important for night driving safety. UltraGauge minimizes the light levels for night driving so that night vision sensitivity is not disturbed.  Brightness levels are fully configurable.

    The large display makes for large and easily readable text.  The display uses high quality glass that is easily cleaned.

     

    Despite the large display, the body of UltraGauge has been minimized to simplify installation and limit dash obstruction.

    UltraGauge automatically detects when the vehicle is not running and switches the display off.

     

    UltraGauge can display 8, 6 or 4 gauges per page. When configured to display 6 or 4 gauges, UltraGauge also displays the health and emissions loop status indicator*

    * The open/closed loop indicator is not available on diesel vehicles

    Some MINI R53 cars need the 'Power off Detect mode' changing to mode 5, to allow the UltraGauge to switch off with the car - Please see page 44 of the instruction manual.

    A superb addition to the Cooper S.

    Now I can have half an eye on the cars running temperatures and general operating data. Much better than waiting for a lamp to tell me something is too hot or even broken.
